Weekend Update
Dear Resident,
We have a busy weekend planned in town. Saturday we celebrate the grand opening of the Marlboro cricket field and the 10th annual Mayor’s Charity Softball Tournament will be played at the Union Hill fields. Paper shredding will be held in the DPW lot beginning at 9am. Sunday, the Marlboro Farmers Market is open from 9am to 1pm and is a great place to bring the family for an outing and stock up on produce and local items.
I want to address the delays in recycling collection. We are working with our contractor to ensure a timely pickup as per the recycling calendar. Unfortunately, they often do not know that there will be a disruption in service until the morning the zone is scheduled to be collected. As soon as we are informed, we send a notice to residents via email, social media and post on the township website. If your recycling is already curbside, leave it there and it will be collected as soon as possible. We apologize for this disruption and will continue to work with the vendor to work towards a resolution.
Congratulations and best of luck to our Marlboro graduates. We are very proud of all of you and know you will do great things as you head to your next chapter.
Please see below for details on the upcoming weekend events and programs.
