Weekend Update

It was great to see residents enjoying our parks as we enjoyed warmer weather and a hint of spring. As we look towards spring, a reminder that Recreation Summer Camp registration is underway and is filling fast. Remaining camp spots will open to non-residents on March 5 at 9am. If you have not yet registered, please don’t delay. Please see below for more.

Brush Collection Resumes- As per the email sent earlier this week, brush collection will resume by zone. We remind you that anticipated weather can cause OEM to postpone/cancel so please do not place brush curbside more than one week before the first day of your scheduled collection day. Read MORE.
Monmouth County Announces 2025 Shredding Dates – All locations are open to any county resident. See HERE for details.
Fire Hydrant Flushing – Gordons Corner Water will begin spring hydrant flushing on March 3. Flushing will take place Monday - Friday 8am – 4pm. Read more HERE. Marlboro Water will begin hydrant flushing March 31. More to follow.
Pothole Portal – When the ground freezes and thaws, potholes form. Report on our Pothole Portal on the Township website and HERE.
Marlboro Township Home Improvement Program – This was created by the Township to provide funds for qualified applicants to make home improvements such as roof, electrical, heating, etc. Please see FLYER and PROGRAM INFORMATION for contact information and to learn how to submit a preliminary application.

Message from the Office of Chief Pezzullo – Please remember to lock your car doors, take the key fobs inside, remove garage door openers, lock your house doors/windows and set alarms. Do not leave your keys easily visible/accessible. If you see anything out of place or suspicious call the police at 732-536-0100. For crimes in progress dial 911.
TOWN MEETINGS
All Town meetings are posted on the Township website ‘Upcoming Events’ Calendar linked HERE. Agendas, where applicable, are posted to the website not less than 48 hours in advance of the meeting and are linked to the calendar event. The following Council/Planning/Zoning meetings are upcoming. Other meetings can be found on the calendar. From time to time, meetings are cancelled and notice is posted to the calendar event. Please check before you head out.
