CONSTRUCTION ADVISORY – ROAD CLOSED – DETOUR IN PLACE - POLICE PRESENT
Harbor Road – Tuesday (11/19) and Wednesday (11/20) from 7am-5pm, the Township’s contractor will be on Harbor Road performing mill and pave operations between Tennent Road and Pegasus Court.
Station Road - Wednesday (11/20) through Thursday (11/21) from 7am-5pm, the Township’s contractor will be on Station Road performing mill and pave operations between Hickory Lane and Briarcliff Drive.
***Texas Road – Tuesday (11/19) Texas Road will be closed from Greenwood Road to the Matawan border.
CONSTRUCTION ADVISORY – LANE STRIPING - ROAD OPEN
All construction from 7am until 5pm unless stated otherwise
Center Roadway Line Painting – Monday (11/18) and Tuesday (11/19) the following roads will have the striping truck moving at slow speeds. Please do not ‘crowd’ the painting truck and do not cross over lines when cones are present as the paint will be wet.
- Conover Road, from Route 79 to Route 520
- Pleasant Valley Road from Rte 34 to Reids Hill Road
- Pleasant Valley Road from Reids Hill Road to Route 79
- Reids Hill Road from Pleasant Valley Road to the Township Border with Holmdel
- Nolan Road from Rte 79 to Reids Hill Road
- Robertsville Road from Wyncrest Road to Gordons Corner Road
UPCOMING ROAD PROJECTS
Robertsville Road - Marlboro has received funding from the NJ DOT Municipal Aid Program for the Robertsville Road improvement project (Manalapan to Freehold border) in the amount of $209,528. This project includes the milling, reconstruction and overlay of the existing roadway surface along with drainage improvements, installation of ADA curb ramps and detectable warning surfaces, traffic striping, the reconstruction of all inlets and stormwater management improvements. The project is currently in the design phase and construction is anticipated by spring 2025.
Ticetown Road - Marlboro has been selected to receive funding from the NJ DOT Municipal Aid Program for the Ticetown Road improvement project in the amount of $246,850. This project includes the milling, reconstruction and overlay of the existing roadway surface along with drainage improvements, installation of ADA curb ramps and detectable warning surfaces, traffic striping, the reconstruction of all inlets and stormwater management improvements. The project is currently in the design phase.
School Road East - The underground utility work has been completed and we are awaiting the trenches to settle before paving. Road repaving is anticipated within three weeks.
