RE: Hurricane Zeta
Dear Resident,
The Marlboro Office of Emergency Management continues to monitor the weather as the remnants of Zeta crosses nearby during the day today and tonight. Heavy rains may produce some ponding of water and gusty winds are possible. The first widespread freeze of the season is likely Friday night into Saturday morning.
The rain will taper off Friday, but some minor flooding is possible. To allow rainwater to run freely to the sewers, if you have a sewer inlet on or near your property, please take a moment to ensure that leaves are not piled near the inlet and remove debris that may have gathered blocking the grates.
We remind you that rain and wind can lead to power outages. Please report outages to JCP&L by calling 888-544-4877 or report on-line or via text HERE. Treat all downed wires as live and dangerous and report to the Marlboro Division of Police at 732-536-0100.
Barring any significant forecast changes, this will be our only update on this storm. Stay safe.
Mayor Jon Hornik
