RE: Tropical Storm Debby
UPDATE #1 – 12 p.m.
Dear Resident,
The Marlboro Office of Emergency Management (OEM) has been closely monitoring Tropical Storm Debby as it progresses northward. According to the latest forecast, the storm is expected to track west of our area, but there remains a significant risk of heavy rain and flash flooding, especially from Friday afternoon into the evening.
With approximately five (5) inches of rain already saturating the ground earlier this week, any additional rainfall could lead to rapid flooding. A change in the track of the storm of as little as 50 miles could alter the forecast substantially.

Ensure that you are able to receive weather updates and warnings via multiple pathways as forecasts can change quickly and some methods of communication are not available when the power is out.
