ROAD TO CLOSE – CONSTRUCTION ADVISORY –DETOURS IN PLACE
Union Hill Road – Overnight construction Tuesday (6/8) and Friday (6/9) from 7pm through 6am between Clayton road and the Manalapan border. Detour will be in place from Kilmer entrance/exit nearest the Clayton Ramp to Manalapan border of Wild Turkey Way (Covered Bridge). This project utilized, in part, a $205,000 grant received from the State Department of Transportation. When complete, this project will include removal and replacement of deteriorated concrete curb and concrete curb and gutter, modifications to the intersection of Hawkins Road to improve the pedestrian crossing, upgrade of all curb ramps to meet ADA regulations, and the milling and resurfacing of the entire roadway surface.
ROAD TO REMAIN OPEN – CONSTRUCTION ADVISORY – POLICE PRESENT
Clubhouse Lane - Tuesday (6/13) to Friday (6/16) from 7am-5pm, construction crews will be on Clubhouse Lane in the Greenbriar development performing curb driveway apron restoration along with the reconstruction of all ADA curb ramps between Coventry Terrace and Murray Hill Terrace.
Clubhouse Lane – Monday (6/19) to Friday (6/23) from 7am-5pm, construction crews will be on Clubhouse Lane in the Greenbriar development performing water service replacement between Coventry Terrace and Murray Hill Terrace.
LLOYD ROAD WATER MAIN REPLACEMENT PROJECT
Intermittent Lane Closures – Detours in Place – Police Present
The Marlboro Township Water Utility Division continues improvements to the Water Distribution System to ensure the continued reliable supply of potable water to its customers. A Project began on April 5, 2023 to replace the water main along Lloyd Road between Route 79 and the Aberdeen Township border. The project generally consists of full water main replacement including all applicable valves and fire hydrants. The Project is anticipated to be completed in approximately 120 days. During this time, there may be temporary interruptions to traffic along Lloyd Road.
UPCOMING – FUNDED IN PART BY NJDOT GRANT
Wyncrest Road: The road has been repaved, repaved and striped and the construction is complete. Thank you for your cooperation and patience.
Ryan Road - Mayor Jon Hornik and the Township Council are pleased to announce that Marlboro has been selected to receive funding from the NJ DOT Municipal Aid Program for the Ryan Road improvement project in the amount of $251,900. More to follow.
