ROAD CLOSED – NIGHTTIME CONSTRUCTION ADVISORY – POLICE PRESENT
Overnight Road Construction 7pm – 6am
Menzel Lane and Union Hill Road - Monday, (7/15) construction crews will be on Menzel Lane and Union Hill Road between Tennent and Menzel performing pave operations. The road will be closed only during construction hours.
Buckley Road and School Road East - Tuesday (7/16) and Wednesday (7/17), construction crews will be on Buckley Road between School Road East and the Route 18 overpass as well as on School Road East between Route 79 and the Bella Vista Country Club performing mill and pave operations.
ROAD CLOSED – DAY CONSTRUCTION ADVISORY – POLICE PRESENT
All construction from 7am until 5pm unless stated otherwise
School Road East - Thursday (7/18) and Friday (7/19), construction crews will be on School Road East performing mill and pave operations between Brushneck Road and the Colts Neck Municipal boundary. (see project notes below)
UPCOMING ROAD PROJECTS
Robertsville Road - Marlboro has received funding from the NJ DOT Municipal Aid Program for the Robertsville Road improvement project (Manalapan to Freehold border) in the amount of $209,528. This project includes the milling, reconstruction and overlay of the existing roadway surface along with drainage improvements, installation of ADA curb ramps and detectable warning surfaces, traffic striping, the reconstruction of all inlets and stormwater management improvements. The project is currently in the design phase and construction is anticipated by Spring 2025.
Ticetown Road - Marlboro has been selected to receive funding from the NJ DOT Municipal Aid Program for the Ticetown Road improvement project in the amount of $246,850. This project includes the milling, reconstruction and overlay of the existing roadway surface along with drainage improvements, installation of ADA curb ramps and detectable warning surfaces, traffic striping, the reconstruction of all inlets and stormwater management improvements. The project is currently in the design phase and 2024 construction is anticipated.
Harbor Road - Roadway improvements on Harbor Road between Tennent Road and Route 79 are anticipated to begin this Spring with final paving to be completed in the Summer of 2024. Harbor Road will be closed while the contractor is on site with detours in place, during which time Police Officers will be on site to assist motorists.
School Road East - The resurfacing of School Road East between Brushneck Road and the Colts Neck border is scheduled to be completed in the Summer of 2024. Upon issuance of permits from the NJDEP, the remainder of the roadway between Brushneck Road and Dutch Lane will be resurfaced in coordination with stream cleaning and other drainage improvements. School Road East will be closed while the contractor is on site with detours in place, during which time Police Officers will be on site to assist motorists.
