ROAD TO REMAIN OPEN – CONSTRUCTION ADVISORY – POLICE PRESENT
All construction from 7am until 5pm unless stated otherwise
Buckthorne Court - Monday (4/22) through Tuesday (4/23), construction crews will be working on Buckthorn Court performing concrete curb replacement, as directed, as well as the reconstruction of all handicap ramps.
Hartman Road - Wednesday (4/24) through Thursday (4/25) construction crews will be working on Hartman Road performing concrete curb replacement, as directed.
Menzel Lane - Monday (4/22) through Tuesday (4/23) construction crews will be working on Menzel Lane performing concrete curb installation near the intersection at Tennent Road.
School Road East –Monday (4/22) from 7am-5pm, construction crews will be working on School Road East performing investigatory work for drainage repairs in the vicinity of the County bridge along the frontage of #55 School Road East. See ‘Upcoming Projects’ below for project details.
Ryan Road - HMA paths to begin on Wednesday (4/24) with concrete starting Thursday (4/25). This work will extend through the week of 5/6 with paving operations to commence Monday, 5/20.
UPCOMING ROAD PROJECTS
Robertsville Road - Marlboro has received funding from the NJ DOT Municipal Aid Program for the Robertsville Road improvement project (Manalapan to Freehold border) in the amount of $209,528. This project includes the milling, reconstruction and overlay of the existing roadway surface along with drainage improvements, installation of ADA curb ramps and detectable warning surfaces, traffic striping, the reconstruction of all inlets and stormwater management improvements. The project is currently in the design phase and construction is anticipated by Spring 2025.
Ticetown Road - Marlboro has been selected to receive funding from the NJ DOT Municipal Aid Program for the Ticetown Road improvement project in the amount of $246,850. This project includes the milling, reconstruction and overlay of the existing roadway surface along with drainage improvements, installation of ADA curb ramps and detectable warning surfaces, traffic striping, the reconstruction of all inlets and stormwater management improvements. The project is currently in the design phase and 2024 construction is anticipated.
Harbor Road - Roadway improvements on Harbor Road between Tennent Road and Route 79 are anticipated to begin this Spring with final paving to be completed in the Summer of 2024. Harbor Road will be closed while the contractor is on site with detours in place, during which time Police Officers will be on site to assist motorists.
School Road East - The resurfacing of School Road East between Brushneck Road and the Colts Neck border is scheduled to be completed in the Summer of 2024. Upon issuance of permits from the NJDEP, the remainder of the roadway between Brushneck Road and Dutch Lane will be resurfaced in coordination with stream cleaning and other drainage improvements. School Road East will be closed while the contractor is on site with detours in place, during which time Police Officers will be on site to assist motorists.
