Following the winter road program hiatus, the 2023/24 road program continues. Please see below for road construction notices in process and upcoming.
Marlboro Pothole Portal – Spring thaw is pothole season throughout the northeast and we remind residents that our Pothole Portal is on our website throughout the year. By entering the complaint directly it allows for an even more efficient response and allows residents who drive our streets every day to help direct resources to those areas most in need. The Pothole Portal is a part of our SDL system and you need register only one time to access our many on-line services. LANE CLOSED – DETOUR IN PLACE – POLICE PRESENT
Topanemus Road - Monday through Wednesday construction crews will be on Topanemus Road performing concrete curb replacement between Julian Way and Colts Brook Road. The southbound lane will be closed and detours in place.
ROAD TO REMAIN OPEN – CONSTRUCTION ADVISORY – POLICE PRESENT
All construction from 7am until 5pm unless stated otherwise
Collingwood Road - Thursday through Friday construction crews will be working on Collingwood Road performing concrete curb replacement, as directed, as well as the reconstruction of all handicap ramps.
UPCOMING – FUNDED IN PART BY NJDOT GRANT
Robertsville Road - Mayor Jon Hornik and the Township Council are pleased to announce that Marlboro has been selected to receive funding from the NJ DOT Municipal Aid Program for the Robertsville Road improvement project (Manalapan to Freehold border) in the amount of $209,528. This project includes the milling, reconstruction and overlay of the existing roadway surface along with drainage improvements, installation of ADA curb ramps and detectable warning surfaces, traffic striping, the reconstruction of all inlets and stormwater management improvements. The project is currently in the design phase and construction is anticipated by Spring 2025.
Ticetown Road - Mayor Jon Hornik and the Township Council are pleased to announce that Marlboro has been selected to receive funding from the NJ DOT Municipal Aid Program for the Ticetown Road improvement project in the amount of $246,850. This project includes the milling, reconstruction and overlay of the existing roadway surface along with drainage improvements, installation of ADA curb ramps and detectable warning surfaces, traffic striping, the reconstruction of all inlets and stormwater management improvements. The project is currently in the design phase and 2024 construction is anticipated.
