Dear Resident,
I hope everyone had an enjoyable weekend. Please note the following updates:
COVID-19 VACCINATIONS –
- Pre-Register for the Vaccine – If you have not done so already, pre-register with the State and review vaccine information, at https://covid19.nj.gov/pages/vaccine
- NJ Department of Health – The NJ Department of Health January 22, 2021 edition of the Vax Matters Newsletter Their newsletters and updates can be found on their website HERE. Receive the updates in your inbox by registering for VAX Matters HERE.
- NJ Vaccine Call Center – Beginning this morning, NJ opened a call center to help residents with the vaccination process. The call center can be reached at 855-568-0545 and is available 8am to 8pm 7 days a week. For those residents unable to access a computer, the call center staff can pre-register and will be able to assist in scheduling appointments for those eligible. Please note that the wait times are long and residents should use the state vaccine website whenever possible.
- Monmouth County Vaccine Registration – County Residents who are eligible to receive the COVID-19 vaccine should register for the Monmouth County Waitlist. Please note that this is a separate registration from the state and residents should register for both. Visit the Monmouth County website for more.
COVID-19 Testing in Marlboro: The COVID-19 testing trucks will remain the Recreation Center Parking lot until further notice. The testing is done via saliva test, you do not have to be symptomatic and results are emailed in 72 hours. Please review the flyer for dates/times, the QR code to pre-register and what is needed to expedite the process. Please note that there are NO out of pocket costs for the test, whether or not you have insurance. If you receive a bill for the test, please contact the call center at 888-355-0635 Monday through Friday from 9am - 5pm and Saturday and Sunday 9am - 3pm. This same number can be used if you do not have email or do not receive results via email after 72 hours. Please see the FLYER for more.
Lastly, we are expecting a chance of snow and a wintry mix this evening into tomorrow before changing over to all rain. Marlboro DPW trucks have pretreated the roads in advance of the storm. Please plan on slippery road conditions, leave extra time, slow down and allow extra space between you and other vehicles.
Have a good evening and stay safe,
Mayor Jon Hornik
