Dear neighbor,
We have a weekend filled with Marlboro events. Saturday is our annual Mayor’s Bike and Stroll and the Marlboro Farmers Market opens for the season on Sunday.
Saturday, June 3 at 2pm, join me for my annual Bike and Stroll , a celebration of National Trails Day that is fun for the whole family. Bring the kids and dogs as we walk or bike the paved and shaded Henry Hudson Trail, beginning at Pedego (239 Route 79). Be sure to bring helmets for your bikers and leashes for your dogs. Chick-fil-a will be providing a free ice cream and the Marlboro Green Team will be offering re-usable water bottles (while supplies last).
Sunday, June 4 the Marlboro Farmers Market opens for the season from 9am to 1pm. Located at the preserved Stattel Farm property (444 Rt. 520) our curated market features more than 25 vendors and offers the best of seasonal produce from local farms and small business products. Handicapped parking is at the ground level with plenty of parking behind the market. For more information follow @MarlboroFarmersMarket on Facebook and Instagram. The Farmers Market has something for everyone.
I hope to see you at one or both of our events this weekend.
Yours in community,
Mayor Jonathan Hornik
